As a tradition, Summit Huddles always include “Love Notes” – reflections the listening audience give to the women sharing their stories.
Why? Women never seek out attention for themselves, but rather they are typically the ones in the room to dispense a compliment or words of encouragement to someone else: a child, a spouse, or a friend.
Our love notes are a way for the women in the room to hear what others see in them. These are insights that we can’t always see for ourselves because by definition we have no objective lens on our impact on the world.
If for whatever reason you can’t make it to a Summit event, practice sending an email, text, whatever to a friend to remind her of her awesome contribution to you and your shared world. The return on that investment is invaluable.

After being out of the workforce for nearly 20 years, I was EXTREMELY nervous and hesitant.
I knew that I had skills and connections that could help me in today’s work environment but had absolutely no idea how to pull it all together or where to begin to look for a job. After working with Sheilah, I have more confidence in talking about what I want to do moving forward and have a clear understanding of my assets and my goals.Elizabeth Boutry
“I have a very fulfilling new business that is perfect for me
as a result of working with Sheilah. I’m continuing to learn new things in my late 40s. I feel like I am in phase three of my career, and I have lots of hope for the next 30 years! I would recommend working with Sheilah to anyone who’s ready to dig deep and think about what they might want a new do next. “Jennifer Deinard
Before I worked with Sheilah, I was feeling scared and lacked confidence and I didn’t know where to start.
I had heard great things about Sheilah and that she got results! Sheilah was kind, thoughtful, supportive, easy to get to know, and put me at ease. After working with Sheilah, I have my own little business and I’m not afraid to just go for things.
