Love Notes
As a tradition, Summit Huddles always include “Love Notes” – reflections the listening audience give to the women sharing their stories.
Why? Women never seek out attention for themselves, but rather they are typically the ones in the room to dispense a compliment or words of encouragement to someone else: a child, a spouse, or a friend.
Our love notes are a way for the women in the room to hear what others see in them. These are insights that we can’t always see for ourselves because by definition we have no objective lens on our impact on the world.
If for whatever reason you can’t make it to a Summit event, practice sending an email, text, whatever to a friend to remind her of her awesome contribution to you and your shared world. The return on that investment is invaluable.
